Internships / Mentoring 

  • HHS/Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC): Request for applications for the 2015 Public Health Associate Program (PHAP) Host Site Recruitment Initiative. PHAP places entry-level public health professionals in state, tribal, local, and territorial public health agencies, nongovernmental organizations, and CDC quarantine stations to gain broad experience in public health program operations.   • HIV Vaccine Trials Network, in collaboration with the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases: Research and Mentorship Program (RAMP) Scholars Grants. Provides African-American and Latino/a medical students with opportunities for independent research and structured mentoring. Clinical Trials

  • HHS/NIH Clinical Center and the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD): Botulinum Toxin for Pelvic Pain in Women With Endometriosis (Study 12-CH-0083). NIH is seeking women with endometriosis and pelvic pain to participate in a research study to test if botulinum toxin can relieve pain from pelvic floor spasm. Study-related tests and medication are provided at no cost.
