OMHRC Funding

  • HHS/OMHRC: HIV and Hepatitis Social Marketing Campaign Subcontracts. OMHRC is awarding subcontracts to organizations to increase awareness of HIV and hepatitis co-infections in minority populations.   • University of Washington/School of Social Work, Indigenous Wellness Research Institute: Lāuhoe - Indigenous HIV/AIDS Research Training (IHART2) Program. This program aims to increase the number of American Indian/Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islanders and Underrepresented Racial and/or Ethnic Minority (UREM) scholars conducting HIV/AIDS research in Indian Country.   • HHS/Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ): New resource. Toolkit for Reducing CAUTI in Hospitals. This toolkit helps hospitals prevent CAUTI (Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infections) in patients and improve safety culture by implementing concepts from the Comprehensive Unit-based Safety Program (CUSP).
