Challenges

  • Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS): Super-Utilizer Health Innovation Challenge. CHCS invites software developers to design applications that address the challenges faced by low-income individuals with multiple medical, behavioral health, and social needs.   • HHS/Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA): Offender Reintegration Toolkit Challenge.   • President Obama declared June to be LGBT Pride Month, and in honor of that decision the Resource Center would like to highlight a book published by the American Public Health Association. A Public Health Approach to Bullying Prevention serves as a practical, sustainable, and cost-efficient strategy to tackle bullying in the United States. It presents a chapter on developing school climates for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered students and provides advice on specific facets of school-based bullying.
