This Healthy People 2020 webinar on injury and violence prevention will focus on activities and interventions related to teen dating violence. Planning is underway for the 2nd edition of the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans! New!
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has begun planning for the 2nd edition of the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans (PAG), which is expected to be released in 2018! The 1st edition of the PAG was released in 2008, followed in 2013 by the Midcourse Report focused on strategies to increase physical activity in youth. The Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion is seeking nominations to serve on the 2018 PAG Advisory Committee. Nominations will be accepted until 6 p.m. ET on Friday, February 5, 2016.
