Prior to the November Update Meeting in Nashville we will be hosting a system webcast on Thursday, November 6th at 2:00pm EST. The purpose of this webcast is to share important information with those that cannot attend the meeting, discuss any prep work in advance of the meeting and review final Nashville meeting logistics. MEP Update Meeting: Room Block and Agenda

The MEP System Update Meeting is being held next month in Nashville, TN November 18-19th. Please make sure to register and book hotels as soon as possible! The agenda for the meeting is now up on our event site. We have heard that the hotel room block is almost full and we are trying to add additional rooms. In the event we are unable to add anymore rooms you can either (1) try booking at the Nashville Airport Marriott outside of our room block, but please note the rate will be significantly higher or (2) try other nearby hotels. You can find a list of alternate hotels on our website in the hotel information tab.

Update: Opportunity To Apply for Membership on the Department of Commerce Manufacturing Council

The deadline for nominations has been extended to November 14th.

The Department of Commerce is currently seeking applications for appointment of up to 30 members of the Manufacturing Council for a two-year term to begin in December 2014. The purpose of the Council is to advise the Secretary of Commerce on matters relating to the U.S. manufacturing sector and to provide regular communication between Government and the manufacturing sector.
