Registration Now Open: 2nd Workshop to Develop a Community-Scale Disaster Resilience Framework, July 30, 2014
You are invited to attend the second in a series of workshops organized by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to develop a community-scale approach to disaster resilience, to be held July 30, 2014, at the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ.

Participation is open to all stakeholders with an interest in disaster resilience, including, but not limited to, planners, designers, engineers, and contractors; facility owners, managers and users; local, state and federal government officials; utility owners, operators and regulators; members of standards and model code development organizations; insurers and re-insurers; industry and professional associations; disaster response and recovery groups; and academic experts.
Highlights of the day: An expert panel will discuss the community resilience lessons from Superstorm Sandy before working groups of participants convene to develop sector-specific chapters of the Framework. For the day’s agenda, please click here [link to agenda]
