September MEP Update Meeting

Registration is Now Open

The next MEP Update Meeting is scheduled for September 23, 2015 in Dallas, Texas at the Hyatt Regency.  Registration for the meeting is open until September 16th.  The registration cost is $329 per person.  Please visit the MEP Update Meeting event page for registration and hotel information.  The agenda is not finalized but will be made available shortly. In addition to the MEP Update Meeting there are two other events happening at the Hyatt Regency that may also be of interest:

  • ASMC / Foundation for Manufacturing Excellence Center Best Practice Sharing Conference – September 20 – 22, 2015: The Center Best Practice Sharing Conference will serve as a training venue for MEP Center leaders to share and receive best practices with MEP Center colleagues.  For more information or to register, please visit the event site.
  • MEP Advisory Board Meeting – September 24, 2015: Open to all, no registration required.  Agenda will be posted on the MEP Update Meeting site shortly.

E3 Website URL Change

Please check out the new E3 site at www.epa.gov/e3. The content on the website has not changed, but the look and feel has been updated to accommodate a new web based platform. Currently, the www.e3.gov site has been taken down, however there will be a redirect set up in the next couple of days to redirect subscribers from www.e3.gov to the new www.epa.gov/e3 site. Please update any bookmarks on your sites.

Meet Randell Harper: From changing careers to going back to school in his 30s, his ambition continuously drives him to step out of his comfort zone

Meet Randell Harper, of JAC Products, who is the July Face of Manufacturing. Randell went to work in the construction business right out of high school and then opened his own wallpapering company. Knowing he wanted more of a steady, reliable job, he decided to make a career change into manufacturing and has never looked back. More than 10 years later, he has earned his associate’s degree, is in school for his bachelor’s degree, and has the higher ambition to get his master’s degree.
