NIH-funded Study Finding: Antibodies Linked to Nonresponsive Celiac Disease
Researchers have identified antibodies that could be used to diagnose nonresponsive celiac disease, a form of celiac disease in which the intestine does not heal even after a person adopts a gluten-free diet.
Study Finding: Patients with Celiac Disease at Greater Risk for Developing Coronary Artery Disease
People with celiac disease are two times more likely to develop coronary artery disease compared with those without the disease.
