Hispanic Heritage Month takes place September 15-October 15 and it’s important to remember that Hispanics and Latinos are disproportionately affected by diabetes. Use NDEP’s Paso a Paso tip sheet – available in English and Spanish – to encourage Hispanics and Latinos to make healthy changes to prevent type 2 diabetes step by step.
