Following the National Anthem, Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker will kick off the Summit.

Starting at 8:45 am ET, Director of the National Economic Council Jeff Zients will lead a conversation on the U.S. Economic Resurgence with David Rubenstein, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of The Carlyle Group; Thomas Donohue, President and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; Frederico Fleury Curado, President and CEO of Embraer SA; and Takeshi “Tak” Niinami, President and CEO of Suntory Holding.

At 10:00 am ET, catch a discussion of the U.S. Innovation Advantage, led by U.S. Chief Technology Officer Megan Smith, and featuring Desh Deshpande of Sparta Group, Eric Spiegel of Siemens, Lars Rebien Sørensen of Novo Nordisk, Vijay Chandru of Strand Life Sciences, and Sara Menker of Gro Intelligence. 

And...don't miss President Barack Obama, starting at 12:30 pm ET.

Then, at 4:10 pm ET, join us for a panel on Investing in Rural America, moderated by Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack and featuring Governor Susana Martinez of New Mexico, Carl Casale of CHS Inc., and Robert Engel of CoBank.

Finally, at 5:00 pm ET, SelectUSA Executive Director Vinai Thummalapally and Valerie Jarrett, Special Senior Advisor and Assistant to the President, will give the closing remarks for Day 1 of the Summit.
