State Business Incentives Database

New State Incentives Database from SelectUSA

We're thrilled to announce the launch of the State Business Incentives Database, a national database created by the Council for Community and Economic Research (C2ER). With almost 2,000 programs from all 50 states, DC, and federal agencies, the database gives economic developers, business development finance professionals, and economic researchers a convenient resource for searching and learning about state incentive programs.

EDA Tools to Support Investment

U.S. Cluster Mapping Portal

A community can’t attract investment if it doesn’t have a clear sense of what it has to offer to a potential company or industry looking to locate there. That’s why the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) has tools to help communities identify assets in their regions that will help to attract private investment, including:

  • The National Excess Manufacturing Capacity Catalogue (NEXCAP) is a site selection tool for large manufacturing properties available in the United States. The catalog provides detailed information about underutilized manufacturing sites and the communities in which they are located.
  • The U.S. Cluster Mapping Project is a national economic initiative that provides more than 50 million open data records on industry clusters and regional business environments in the United States to promote economic growth and national competitiveness.
