The
United States Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration (ITA),
invites you to apply for our Executive-led Cyber Security Business Development
Mission to Poland and Romania from May 11-15, 2015

purpose of the mission is to introduce U.S. firms and trade associations to Central
and Eastern Europe’s information and communication technology (ICT) security
and critical infrastructure protection markets and to assist U.S. companies to
find business partners and export their products and services to the region.
With the number and sophistication of cyber-attacks on the rise in Poland,
Romania and other Central and Eastern European countries, cyber security is one
of the fastest growing sectors. In Poland, the market for IT security reached
$156m in 2013 and is expected to grow at over 10% a year over the next five
years. The Romanian government has committed to an aggressive action plan to
fight security threats due to the increasing integration of cyber
infrastructure into the banking, transportation, energy and defense sectors.
The market for cyber-security is quickly emerging in many neighboring Central
and Eastern European countries as well.
