Happy New Year and welcome to 2014! This year promises to be an exciting and active one for SelectUSA, and I would like to share with you a few of our upcoming events scheduled for April 2014. I hope that you can join us.

INDIA: SelectUSA India Road Show

April 7 - 11, 2014

The U.S. Commercial Service India and SelectUSA are organizing a SelectUSA Road Show in India, including stops in Mumbai, Bangalore, and New Delhi. During the four-day event, U.S. state, local and regional economic development organizations (EDOs) will promote their location and investment opportunities to interested Indian investors. The event aims to attract companies directly relevant to the needs of each participating EDO. The programming will include sessions on how best to pitch to Indian companies, and the specific cultural nuances for these key regions of India. Each city visit will include time for one-on-one meetings with investors, company site visits, and social networking events. For more details, download the SelectUSA India Road Show Flyer.

GERMANY: Hannover Messe

April 7 - 11, 2014

For the fourth consecutive year, the U.S. Commercial Service Germany and SelectUSA will host the USA Investment Center at the world’s largest industrial technology show, the Hannover Messe Trade Fair. The USA Investment Center is a joint pavilion of SelectUSA and participating economic development organizations from U.S. states, cities and regions. The USA Investment Center promotes the United States as the premier global business location to over 6,500 industry exhibitors and 210,000 trade visitors. It offers EDOs a cost-effective turnkey package of meeting space, joint marketing and promotion as well as individualized support to maximize business development and recruitment efforts of U.S. EDOs.
