SelectUSA at IVC Conference

On February 9, the Israel Venture Capital Research Center (IVC) will host a seminar, titled "Expanding Your Business Into the U.S. Market," for investors in Tel Aviv. SelectUSA Deputy Executive Director Peggy Philbin will speak at the conference.

Canadian International Auto Show Forum

We're holding our annual Manufacturing Forum at the Canadian International Auto Show (CIAS) on February 11. Companies from the automotive and advanced manufacturing technologies sectors can meet face to face with U.S. economic development organizations (EDOs).

ICA's FDI Training Seminar

Investment Consulting Associates (ICA), in partnership with Conway Events, has organized a two-day workshop in Chicago on February 11 and 12. The FDI Training Seminar will focus on FDI attraction strategies for economic development and investment promotion organizations. SelectUSA will present on marketing a location on February 12.

SelectUSA Italy Seminars

On February 17, we will hold a seminar in Milan and travel on to Florence the following day. Organized in cooperation with two major local industrial associations, the events will promote the 2016 Investment Summit and connect investors with U.S. EDOs. Attendees will learn about case studies from Italian companies that have successfully invested in the United States.

Chemical Industries FDI Seminar

SelectUSA is partnering with Essenscia (the Belgian Federation for Chemistry and Life Sciences Industries) and the U.S. Embassy in Belgium to host the Chemical Industries FDI Seminar in Brussels on February 24. We will brief participants on federal services for investors.

SelectUSA Italy Tech Seminar

On February 24, SelectUSA will hold a seminar geared toward technology startups and entrepreneurs in Milan, Italy. The Tech Seminar will cover the practicalities of expanding into the United States. Guest speakers will discuss accounting, legal, and immigration considerations for setting up in the U.S. while experts will also talk about accessing finance. Attendees will have the chance to hear from Italian entrepreneurs about their success stories.

U.S.-Turkey Investment Summit

The American-Turkish Council is hosting The U.S.-Turkey Investment Partnership Summit on February 24 in Washington, D.C. SelectUSA specialist Alev Günay will discuss how Turkish companies can access the U.S. market as an export platform. The Summit, geared toward international businesses, will focus on both the U.S. and Turkish markets, legal and compliance matters, and emerging sectors.
