The
SelectUSA Summit Academy is part of the 2016 SelectUSA Investment Summit, and
will be held on Sunday, June 19th in Washington, DC.
Participants will include foreign investors who are new to the U.S. market and
U.S. economic developers seeking to learn more about foreign direct investment
(FDI) attraction.
We are currently
developing the list of speakers and topics and are eager to hear your ideas.
How to pitch a topic for the Academy: Visit
SelectUSASummit.us to submit your ideas. You can submit an idea for a single
speaker, a panel of speakers, or a combination of the
two. We will close submissions to begin the review process on February 3 at
11:59 p.m.
How to attend the Academy: Make sure to select the Academy
option when registering for the full SelectUSA Investment Summit.

about the SelectUSA Summit Academy: The SelectUSA Summit Academy
is an optional pre-Summit orientation for participants from companies, state
and local governments, and economic development organizations (EDOs) who want
to make the most out of the SelectUSA Summit. The Academy will have two
separate tracks: Investor and EDO. Both tracks will cover information and practical
tips on topics such as regulations, investment incentives, investor visas, and
analytical tools to better understand FDI and reshoring trends.
When: The optional Summit Academy will take place on June 19, 2016. The
high-profile speaking program, Exhibition Hall, and other activities will take
place June 20-21, 2016.
