Job Summary:

As a GSA Project Manager you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of technical duties in the management of building service, repair and construction projects. Duties include, but are not limited to, developing/writing scope of work documents, technical specifications and estimates for routine projects. Planning, estimating construction, alterations, repair and improvements projects and associated contract responsibilities. This position will be assigned to the North Dakota Field Office located in Bismarck, North Dakota. This is a developmental position. If selected at the GS-09 or GS-11 grade level, employee will receive close supervision on unusual assignments and completed work will be reviewed more closely while at the same time providing opportunity for the employee to gain the full range of knowledge and judgment required for full performance at the target grade level of GS-12. When the supervisor believes the employee is fully capable of performing satisfactorily the more difficult responsibilities of the position, and the employee is eligible and/or qualified for the higher grade, the employee may be promoted non-competitively up to GS-12.
