Job Summary:

This position has potential conversion from the Pathways Student Intern and may be further converted to a term or permanent appointment in the competitive service. The employee may be promoted to a higher grade level while in the Pathways Intern Program and up to the full promotion level upon/after conversion. As a Student Trainee under the Pathways Intern Program, commensurate with the grade level, the incumbent will perform constructive and challenging work assignments developed to equip him/her with the knowledge and skills needed for a full performance level position. Work is assigned by the immediate supervisor or higher grade journeyman employee who gives instructions and explanations with each assignment and provides guidance on work in progress. The incumbent is responsible for independently carrying out recurring work assignments of short duration, in accordance with established methods, previous instructions, and accepted practices. This position is located in the Public Buildings Service of the National Capitol Region. As a Student Trainee (Management Analysis), you will use basic foundations of analytical and/or evaluative knowledges to perform routine analysis work of the organization, consistent with your on-the-job-training and expanding administrative and programmatic experience.
