Job Summary:
GSA has been repeatedly named by the Partnership for Public Service as one of the 'Best Places to Work in the Federal Government'. The position is in the General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), Engineering Division, Office of the Chief Architect. The incumbent shall serve as GSAs expert on building enclosures and shall have specialized skills and experience in that field including but not limited to metal, masonry and precast exterior wall assemblies, glazing systems, roofing and waterproofing systems. This position is approved for virtual assignment nationwide. Position location to be determined at time of selection. The GS-14 salary range is: Washington, DC - $108,887.00 to 141,555.00 New York, New York -$112,744.00 to $146,570.00 San Francisco, CA - $118,460.00 to $154,000.00 GSA offers its employees a wide range of benefits including: Federal health insurance plans (choose from a wide range of plans) Life insurance coverage with several options to choose from Leave policies to help you take care of your personal, recreational, and health care needs Thrift Savings Plan (similar to a 401(k) plan) Flexible work schedules and telework Transit and child care subsidies Training and development At this time we are only filling one vacancy, however additional vacancies may be filled from this announcement as needed.
