Volpe Staff at Local and National Events

Volpe staff were featured at key speaking engagements in January and February, including the following:

  • Eric Boeker discussed aircraft noise modeling at the European Civil Aviation Conference held in Paris, France, on February 16-17. Boeker reported on Aviation Environmental Design Tool results that will be included in two international aircraft noise modeling documents.  

  • Michael Scarpino gave a presentation on strategies to advance alternative fuels vehicle and infrastructure projects at the National Association of State Energy Officials  Energy Policy Outlook Conference in Washington, D.C., on February 4.
     
  • Qi Van Eikema Hommes gave a presentation on safety analysis approaches for automotive electronic control systems at the 2015 Society of Automotive Engineers' Meeting.
