Job Summary:

This position is located in the Department of Labor located in the Philadelphia Region of the Veterans' Employment and Training Services (VETS), Philadelphia, PA. The Purpose is to serve as the senior compliance programs resource, typically for a VETS region, providing leadership for development of more effective investigative strategies and approaches, and supervision of the implementation of same. The incumbent provides regional oversight, leadership, evaluation and coordination of investigative activities. Develops technical guidance and investigative models to address difficulties encountered in regional and national investigative activity. Responsibilities will include enforcement activities related to: Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994 (Title 38 U.S.C. Chapter 43--hereinafter referred to as USERRA The Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (P.L. 105-339: Title 5 U.S.C Chapter 33)--hereinafter referred to as VEOA The Memorandum of Understanding between the ASVET and the Special Counsel, U.S. Office of Special Counsel (OSC) concerning VEOA and USERRA--hereinafter referred to as the OSC MOU This position is at the full performance level. - This position is outside the bargaining unit. - Relocation costs will not be paid.
