Job Summary:
This position is at the full performance level GS-12. This position is inside the bargaining unit. Relocation costs will not be paid. This position is located in the Occupational Safety and Health Administrations (OSHA) Region III, Office of Administrative Programs. The Office of Administrative Programs is responsible for broad and varied responsibilities including the following areas: management analysis, personnel and financial management, program analysis and evaluation pertaining to the implementation, performance, and impact of various programs which affect Federal operations, information technology, and administrative services. The mission of OSHA is to develop and promulgate occupational safety and health standards, develop and issue regulations; conduct investigations and inspections to determine the status of compliance with safety and health standards and regulations; issue citations and proposes penalties for non-compliance with safety and health standards and regulations; assist and encourage the States in developing occupational safety and health state plans that are "as effective as" the Federal programs; and provides training and education in the field of occupational safety and health.
