Job Summary:
The incumbent serves as a Management and Program Analyst for Women Veterans. The position is located in the Veterans Employment and Training Service (VETS). As a Program Analyst, the incumbent is responsible for four primary duties: (1) providing expertise/consult on women veterans employment and training issues; (2) working directly with the Office of the Secretary to develop a program to improve DOLs services in support of women veterans; (3) providing outreach to stakeholders to improve resources for women veteran employment; and (4) identifying challenges distinct to women veterans unemployment and economic security. This position has no promotion potential. This position is inside the bargaining. This position will not be filled until the Department's Placement Assistance Programs have been fully utilized.
