This position is a senior lead accountant in the Department of Labor (DOL), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). There are 2 vacancies for this position - one position is located in the Division of Client Accounting Services (DCAS) and one position is located in the Division of Financial Reporting (DFR). The Incumbent(s) serves as a senior lead operating accountant serving as an expert in fiscal management for funds managed by Departmental Management (DM) agencies. The incumbent(s) is responsible for a wide variety of fiscal, administrative and analytical duties associated with the provision of effective control and accountability for all funds and other financial assets of the U.S. Department of Labor, Departmental Management. The incumbent(s) works in collaboration with senior DOL, OCFO, and Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM) and Departmental Management Officials on a variety of accounting, budget, financial/management related assignments and special projects. This position is outside the bargaining unit. This position is at the full performance level. Relocation expense are not authorized.
