The Mine Safety and Health Assistant (OA) will provide program and administrative support, as well as liaison duties in direct support of the supervisor and a cadre of Mine Safety and Health Inspectors. Due to the nature of the work performed, the supervisor and inspectors are required to be out of the office for extended periods of time, necessitating that the applicant work independently to ensure the continued efficiency and effectiveness of the function of this office.
