Labor Department News Releases Update

The U.S. labor market is in constant motion as businesses react to fluid marketplace demands. To stay current with these changes and equip workers with the skills needed to be competitive, job-training programs must be nimble and ready to respond as labor demands change.

In the week ending June 13, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 267,000, a decrease of 12,000 from the previous week's unrevised level of 279,000. The 4-week moving average was 276,750, a decrease of 2,000 from the previous week's unrevised average of 278,750.
