NIJ released a solicitation seeking proposals to fund doctoral research in the physical or life sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics. Proposals must be directly relevant to better preventing and responding to crime and ensuring the fair and impartial administration of criminal justice. NIJ awards grants to fully accredited, degree granting educational institutions in the amount of $35,000 to cover a doctoral student fellowship. The online application process can be time-consuming. Start early. Deadline: April 28, 2014.
