Progress on Hurricane Sandy recovery and more This Week at Interior

Dear Friend,

This week, as the two-year anniversary of Hurricane Sandy approaches, the Fish and Wildlife Service and other Interior agencies are tracking the progress of recovery on the East Coast; Secretary Jewell speaks at the National Workshop on Large Landscape Conservation; Deputy Secretary Connor finalizes a major land transfer to a Native Alaskan community; federal agencies charged with overseeing the nation's wilderness areas come together to sign a new agreement; and Interior wants veterans, military members and their families to send in photos or videos of our service members enjoying the nation's public lands for a Veterans Day video. Email photos to newmedia@ios.doi.gov.
