An Alouette III helicopter hovers near the guided-missile destroyer USS Bulkeley in the Gulf of Oman, Jan. 2, 2014. The Bulkeley, part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group, is conducting operations with ships assigned to French Task Force 473 to enhance cooperation and maritime capabilities, and promote long-term regional stability in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
