An F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the Black Knights of Strike Fighter Squadron 154 launches from the USS Nimitz in the Pacific Ocean, Dec. 2, 2013. The Nimitz is transiting the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of responsibility after spending eight months deployed to the U.S. 5th, 6th and 7th Fleet areas of responsibility.
