U.S. Deputy Defense Secretary Ash Carter places his personal coin on the Regional Command Southwest's headquarters statue in what has become a tradition on Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, Nov. 29, 2013. Carter also met with troops to thank them for their service, dedication and hard work.
