A successful liftoff for the Air Force! The Atlas 5 rocket, carrying the AEHF 3 for the United States Air Force. The Atlas 5 rocket launched from Cape Canaveral September 17th, carrying the Advanced Extremely High Frequency Communications Satellite. The satellite will orbit 22-thousand miles above the Earth.
