An Afghan army fire support crew fires a D-30 122mm howitzer during certification exercises on Forward Operating Base Tagab in Kapisa province, Afghanistan, Sept. 5, 2013. U.S. soldiers assigned to the 10th Mountain Division's 5th Battalion, 25th Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, instructed the Afghan soldiers on the proper techniques of firing the howitzer.
