U.S. Army Spc. Casey Sage provides security for soldiers during a patrol near Lalmah village in the Chapahar district in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province, Sept. 1, 2013. Sage, a cavalry scout, is assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division's 4th Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team.
