Ajax, a German shepherd military working dog, leaps over a hurdle during a training session on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Aug. 26, 2013. Ajax is assigned to the 673d Air Base Wing Security Forces Squadron, where airmen train with their K-9 counterparts to keep their teams flexible to respond to law enforcement emergencies and overseas deployments.
