Contracts

Air Force

 

            Textron Defense Systems, Wilmington, Mass., has been awarded a $640,786,442 modification (PZ00001) to a firm-fixed-price contract (FA8213-12-C-0064) for 1,300 cluster bomb units.  Work will be performed at Wilmington, Mass., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2015.  This contract involves foreign military sales (FMS) for Saudi Arabia.  FMS funds in the amount of $410,218,248 are being obligated at time of award.  Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/OO-ALC/EBHKA, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity.

 

 

Navy

 

            Lockheed Martin, Maritime Systems and Sensors, Moorestown N.J., is being awarded a $37,266,985 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-09-C-5103) to incrementally fund the Aegis platform systems engineering agent activities and Aegis modernization advanced capability build engineering.  Work is being performed in Moorestown, N.J., and is expected to be completed by September 2014.  Fiscal 2013 research, development, test and evaluation, fiscal 2013 operations and maintenance, Navy, fiscal 2013 shipbuilding and conversion, Navy and fiscal 2013 other procurement, Navy funds in the amount of $37,266,985 will be obligated at the time of award.  Contract funds in the amount of $11,925,435 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington D.C., is the contracting activity.

 

            Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, Portsmouth, R.I., is being awarded a $27,992,210 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-11-C-6410) to exercise an option for the production of 150 MK54 Mod 0 lightweight torpedo kits and related engineering and repair services.  Work will be performed in Keyport, Wash. (95 percent), and Portsmouth, R.I. (5 percent), and is expected to be completed by November 2016.   Fiscal 2013 Weapons Procurement, Navy funding in the amount of $27,992,210 will be obligated at the time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

 

              BAE Systems Hawaii, Honolulu, Hawaii, is being awarded a $12,820,427 modification to previously awarded contract (N0024-06-C-4408) for repairs to the USS Chafee (DDG 90).  This repair modification consists of 106 work items for the USS Chafee scheduled fiscal 2013 dry-docking availability.  Work will be performed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and is expected to complete in February 2014.  Fiscal 2013 operations and maintenance, Navy contract funds in the amount of $12,820,427 will be obligated at the time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity. 

 

            Lockheed Martin Maritime Systems and Sensors, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $10,095,043 cost-plus-incentive-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-09-C-6247) to procure one AN/BVY-1 Integrated Submarine Imaging System (ISIS) and associated spares.  The ISIS provides mission critical, all-weather, visual, and electronic search, digital image management, indication, warning, and platform architecture interface capabilities.  The modification will exercise previously awarded options for applicable hardware and will incrementally fund engineering service support of ISIS.  Services will include design, development, testing, reverse engineering, technology insertion/refreshment, engineering services, field engineering services and system support.  Work will be performed in Manassas, Va. (60 percent); Northampton, Mass. (22 percent); Fairfax, Va. (7 percent); Virginia Beach, Va. (5 percent); Arlington, Va. (2 percent); Newport, R.I. (2 percent); and Northborough, Mass. (2 percent), and is expected to be completed by September 2014.  Fiscal 2013 other procurement, Navy, fiscal 2013 research, development, test and evaluation and fiscal 2013 shipbuilding and conversion, Navy contract funds in the amount of $9,454,997 will be obligated at the time of award.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

 

Army

 

            Odyssey International Inc., Lititz, Pa., was awarded a firm-fixed-price, option-eligible, multi-year contract with a cumulative maximum value of $15,000,000 for construction, renovation, maintenance and repair at Letterkenny Army Depot.  Performance location will be Chambersburg, Pa., and funding will be from fiscal 2013 other funding.  Bid solicited via web and six bid offers received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg Pa., is the contracting activity (W911N2-12-D-0040).

 

            Hellfire Systems LLC, Orlando, Fla., was awarded a firm-fixed-price, no-option , contract modification (P00043) of $8,230,000 with a cumulative maximum value of $886,265,635 for Hellfire II foreign military sales (FMS) offset requirement to the United Arab Emirates.  Performance location will be Orlando, Fla., and funding will be from fiscal 2012 other funding.  One bid solicited and one received. The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Redstone Arsenal (Missile), Redstone, Ala., is the contracting activity (W31P4Q-11-C-0242).

 

            Berger Cummins Joint Venture, Washington, D.C., was awarded a firm-fixed-price, option-eligible contract with a cumulative maximum value of $7,976,129 to provide 30 megawatts of temporary power at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.  Performance location will be Afghanistan, and funding will be from fiscal 2013 operations and maintenence, Army funding.  Eight bids solicited and five bid offers received.  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Philadelphia District, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (W912BU-13-C-0031).
