Contracts

 Navy

             General Dynamics Corp. -- Bath Iron Works Corp., Bath, Maine, is being awarded a $212,000,000 fixed-price incentive (firm target) contract for the design and construction of a steel superstructure (deckhouse and hangar) and construction of an aft peripheral vertical launching system for DDG 1002.  Work will be performed in Bath, Maine (80.5 percent), Corona, Calif. (4.1 percent), Coatesville, Pa. (2.6 percent), South Portland, Maine (1.4 percent) and other various locations with less than one percent (11.4 percent), and is expected to be completed by December 2016.  Fiscal 2010 and 2013 shipbuilding and conversion, Navy funding in the amount of $212,000,000 will be obligated at the time of the award; none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was a limited competition solicited via Federal Business Opportunities.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-11-C-2306).

             Alliant Techsystems Inc., Mesa, Ariz., is being awarded a $45,000,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for 30mm automatic weapons, spare parts, special tools/equipment and engineering support used to support testing, training, fielding and deployment of weapon systems aboard U.S. Navy littoral combat ships and amphibious transport dock ships and U.S. Air Force MC-130 aircraft.  Work will be performed in Mesa, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by August 2018.  Funds in the amount of $4,696,696 will be obligated at time of contract award.  Fiscal 2012 other procurement, Navy funding in the amount of $1,690,811 and shipbuilding and conversion, Navy funding in the amount of $563,603,  Fiscal 2013 procurement, Defense Activity funding  in the amount of $2,207,447 and research, development, test and evaluation, Air Force funding in the amount of $234,835.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured.  The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity (N00164-13-D-JN07).

 Air Force

             The Royal Jordanian Air Academy, Amman, Jordan has been issued task order #0006 in the amount of $27,391,334 for contract (FA3002-12-D-0006) for English language and technical training to Iraqi Air Force students.  Training will be at the Royal Jordanian Air Academy, and is expected to be completed by Aug. 8, 2014.  This contract is in support of foreign military sales in the amount of $27,391,334.  Air Education and Training Command Contracting Squadron/LGCI (International Contracting Flight), Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, is the contracting activity.

 Defense Logistics Agency

             General Electric Aircraft Engines, Lynn, Mass., has been awarded a maximum $24,505,862 modification (P00048) extending the two-year base contract with four two-year option periods for an additional eight and one half month period for support of engine lines.  The contract is a firm-fixed-price, sole-source, indefinite-quantity contract.  Location of performance is Massachusetts, with a March 31, 2014 performance completion date.  Using service is Defense Logistics Agency Aviation.  Type of appropriation is fiscal 2013 defense working capital funds.  The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Richmond, Va., (SPE400-03-D-9404).

             NeuroLogica Corp.*, Danvers, Mass., has been awarded a maximum $12,000,000 modification (P00004) exercising the third option-year on a one-year base contract with seven one-year option periods for radiology systems, subsystems, components.  The contract is a fixed-price with an economic-price-adjustment contract.  Location of performance is Massachusetts, with an Aug. 4, 2014 performance completion date.  Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies.  Type of appropriation is fiscal 2013 through fiscal 2014 defense working capital funds.  The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., (SPM2D1-10-D-8345).
