Navy

            BAE Systems Norfolk Ship Repair, Norfolk, Va., is being awarded a $110,781,296 undefinitized contract action as a modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-11-C-4407) for the USS Wasp (LHD 1) fiscal 2013 drydocking planned maintenance availability.  A drydocking planned maintenance availability includes the planning and execution of depot-level maintenance, alterations, and modifications that will update and improve the ship's military and technical capabilities.  Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va., and is expected to be completed by May 2014.  Fiscal 2013 Operations & Maintenance, Navy and Fiscal 2013 Other Procurement, Navy funding in the amount of $48,594,869 will be obligated at the time of award, and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Norfolk Ship Support Activity, Norfolk, Va., is the administrative contracting activity. 

Defense Logistics Agency

            Fresenius Kabi, Lake Zurich, Ill., has been awarded a maximum $67,798,372 modification (P00022) exercising the first option year period of a one-year base contract (SPM2D0-12-D-0007) with seven one-year option years for various pharmaceutical products.  The contract is a fixed-price with an economic-price-adjustment, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.  Location of performance is Illinois, with a July 29, 2014 performance completion date.  Using military services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies.  Type of appropriation is fiscal 2013 Warstopper funds.  The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa. 

            US Foods Inc., Atlanta, Fairburn, Ga., has been awarded a maximum $37,120,746 fixed-price with an economic-price-adjustment contract.  This contract is a sole-source, bridge contract for prime vendor food and beverage support.  Location of performance is Georgia, with a March 29, 2014 performance completion date.  Using military services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies.  Type of appropriation is fiscal 2013 through fiscal 2014 Defense Working Capital funds.  The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., (SPM300-13-D-3667). 

            Sysco Eastern Maryland, Pokomoke City, Md., has been awarded a maximum $20,050,000 fixed-price with an economic-price-adjustment contract.  This contract is a sole-source, bridge contract for prime vendor food and beverage support.  Location of performance is Maryland, with a March 29, 2014 performance completion date.  Using military services are Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.  Type of appropriation is fiscal 2013 through fiscal 2014 Defense Working Capital funds.  The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., (SPM300-13-D-3664). 

            Sysco Foodservice Alabama, Calera, Ala., has been awarded a maximum $18,145,958 firm-fixed-price contract.  This contract is a sole-source, bridge contract for prime vendor food and beverage support.  Locations of performance are Alabama and Florida, with a March 29, 2014 performance completion date.  Using military services are Army and Air Force.  Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 through fiscal 2013 Defense Working Capital funds.  The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., (SPM300-13-D-3666).
