U.S. Army Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, returns the salute from an Airman 1st Class during a visit to Afghanistan, Jul 21, 2013. The airman is assigned to the support air refueling mission at Mazar-i-Sharif.
