U.S. Marines conduct live-fire training on Camp Leatherneck, Helmand province, Afghanistan, June 8, 2013. The Marines trained to prepare for situations they may encounter while conducting missions in Afghanistan. The country is transitioning to Afghan-led security forces and some of the Marines are assigned to an Afghan national civil police unit.
