ACE Software Developer Registrants:

This message is to provide an update on the status of the upcoming 2015 ACE Software Developer Session, scheduled for March 3rd and 4th in Washington, D.C.

Possible DHS Shutdown:

As you may be aware from media reports, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) could be facing a potential shutdown if Congress does not pass an approved budget before current funding expires on February 27, 2015. A shutdown would have impacts on some U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) operations.

What this means for you:

At this time, we are planning on moving forward with the Software Developer Session as planned March 3-4, 2015. However, please be aware that in the event of a shutdown, we will be required to postpone the event until further notice. We understand many of our attendees will be traveling, so we will communicate any changes in status by no later than close of business on Friday, February 27, so that you may adjust travel plans if needed.

We are hopeful that a shutdown will not occur and we can proceed with business as planned. If a shutdown does occur however, we will follow up with everyone on a rescheduled date for the conference as soon as possible. Until further notice, we look forward to seeing you in Washington D.C. in early March.
