Please see the following information below regarding electronic bond (eBond) issues and concerns since deployment:

eSTB for RLF:

------------

Electronic Single Transaction Bonds (eSTBs) for Remote Location Filing (RLF) is not currently available as Regulatory changes are required before this enhancement can be implemented in production.

eSTB and Certified from Summary:

-------------------------------

If filing an eSTB for an ACE Entry Summary Certified for ACE Cargo Release, filers may receive a ‘reject’ message from ACE Cargo Release due to eBond validations, while receiving an ‘accept’ message from ACE Entry Summary. The ACE Business Office (ABO) is actively addressing the solution and will notify users once an implementation date for this enhancement has been determined. Please note there are eBond validations for any bond changes on the ACE Entry Summary – both superseding and substitution STBs – as well as any continuous bond.
