CBP published a Federal Register Notice today announcing a modification of the Simplified Entry NCAP test and renaming this test to the ACE Cargo Release test. Modifications announced in this notice include removal of the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C–TPAT) status requirement for importer self-filers and customs brokers, and enhanced functionality. The Notice also invites more participants to join the test.
