Great Bay Oysters

NRCS, UNH and TNC partner to improve water quality in The Great Bay

State Conservationist, Rick Ellsmore, partners from UNH and The Nature Conservancy, and Sarah Holmes for Senator Shaheen, Simon Thomson for Senator Ayotte, and Chuck Gilboy for Congresswoman Shea-Porter viewed 75 tons of shell being deposited from a barge into the Piscataqua River reef restoration site.  More

Farm Tour Highlights NRCS Programs

Hillsborough County Conservation District hosted a tour of the Connolly Brothers Dairy Farm in Temple, NH on June 27th with representatives from Senators Ayotte and Shaheen and Congresswoman Kuster's offices, the NH NRCS, including State Conservationist Rick Ellsmore, the NH Association of Conservation Districts, UNH Cooperative Extention, the Russell Foundation, and the Society for the Protection of NH's Forests.     More
