$40 Million Available to Help Ranchers Restore Sage Grouse Habitat

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack today announced the availability of  $40 million to help ranchers restore and protect sagebrush habitat for greater sage-grouse on privately-owned land.

This investment by USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is part of the Working Lands for Wildlife (WLFW) partnership, which helps agricultural producers restore habitat for seven focus species, including sage grouse.
