Updated Table of Designated State Repositories and
Alternates
This table presents a single official criminal
history information repository for each State and Territory. These are the repositories which must be used to
perform statewide searches for National Service Criminal History Checks.
For some States, the Corporation for National and Community Service has
approved the use of an alternate source. If an alternate source has been designated,
unless otherwise qualified, it may be used without further approval from the
Corporation.
This version of the table corrects broken links. Please note that webpages are updated and moved often and CNCS does not maintain
a continuous assessment of these changes. Please email CNCS at the email
address below and we’ll note the out of date link for our next version. In the
meantime, if you encounter a broken link, please find the listed repository
using a search engine of your choice. Thank you.
