On
Monday March 28, 2016, the First Family will host the 138th annual White House
Easter Egg Roll. More than 35,000
people will join the celebration on the White House South Lawn for games,
stories, and, of course, the traditional egg roll.
For the second year, the White House is inviting all elementary and middle school students to submit original artwork for the 2016 Easter Egg Roll Design Contest. The First Lady will select the winning designs, which will be used on the White House 2016 Easter Egg Roll program and souvenir poster. Last year’s winners are below.
The deadline for submissions is February 22, 2016 at 12 p.m. EST.
-
Designs can be uploaded by
visiting whitehouse.gov/eastereggroll. Follow the instructions under the “Design Contest” tab.
-
Artwork should reflect this
year’s theme, “Let’s Celebrate!”
- Please
note submissions may be made public during the selection process.
Please join us for a conference call with White House officials on Tuesday, February 16 to hear about this exciting opportunity for the young people that your programs engage.
