Join ONC for the 2014 Meaningful Use Stage 2 Transitions of Care Connect-a-thon on February 4 & 5 in Alexandria, VAIn an effort to support Eligible Providers’ and Eligible Hospitals’ ability to achieve Stage 2 MU transitions of care (TOC) requirements, ONC invites you to join other HISPs and EHR vendors in end-to-end interoperability testing of CCDA care summary exchange at the 2014 MU Stage 2 TOC connect-a-thon on February 4th and 5th from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00p.m. ET at the Embassy Suites Alexandria – Old Town. This two day event will build on prior ONC events designed to further MU Stage 2 exchange by accelerating testing and troubleshooting across platforms that use Direct specifications to exchange CCDA documents. ONC encourages EHR vendors and HIE/HISP vendors that plan to support MU Stage 2 or deploy products certified to 2014 edition HIT certification to participate in this event. The event will involve end to end testing of actual products, not testing harnesses. Event Details At a minimum, the product or service used at the connect-a-thon must have completed at least one successful test of CCDA care summary exchange with ONC’s Standards and Implementation Testing Environment (SITE). Vendors with 2014 edition certified products or products currently undergoing certification should use those for the event. Vendors may send up to 2 technical staff involved in their MU transition of care product/service development. The event will be highly technical, so please be targeted when selecting attendees.
