Revised proposals for residents to see

Juniper House view from the south

During the public consultation in July residents made a number of comments which have been looked at in detail and we’ve made appropriate changes to the designs for the redevelopment of Juniper House.

As promised those new designs will now be available for residents to see at a drop-in session at Walthamstow Library on Monday 22 October 2018. After that meeting the information will be available on the web site.

These designs will form the basis of the planning application, which should be submitted before Christmas this year, and residents will also be able to comment on the scheme as part of the planning process.

To make sure you keep up to date with the planning application please sign up for the Juniper House email newsletter.

CCTV installed to combat ASB

New CCTV cameras have been installed at the junction of First Avenue and Hoe Street as part of the Council’s commitment to tackling Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) in this area.

The CCTV will cover the turning area in First Avenue as well as the footpath behind the hoarding and the service entrance behind Bru.

There will also be increased patrols in the area and particular attention will be made to the two new bus stops in Hoe Street at times when school pupils are travelling, so any ASB happening there can be tackled.
