This year’s Robin Hood Festival is taking place from 3-9 August and is one of the biggest celebrations of Robin Hood in the world. The free week-long festival offers bags of medieval fun including:
• Outdoor theatre performances
• Costumed characters
• Medieval craft demonstrations
• Musicians
• Falconry displays
• Archery
• Jousting and much more!
All within the magical setting of Sherwood Forest.

You can volunteer and be at the heart of all the medieval merriment that the Festival has to offer!

During the Festival week we will be running a competition with Forest Holidays, where you could win £500 towards a self-catering break, staying in a luxury cabin at the heart of Sherwood Forest. More details to follow!

To celebrate Theatre Royal's 150th anniversary year, Hood - The Legend Continues has been exclusively commissioned. The play sees the legendary heroes and villains reimagined for the modern age living through 150 years of Nottingham's fascinating history!
The play will run from Thursday 17 - Saturday 26 September.
