You will be a Qualified Social Worker (MA, BA (hons) or BSc (hons) Social Work, DipSW, CQSW, CSS) with HCPC registration, have completed your NQSW year and be experienced in working with children and families. Proven experience of court work, as well as undertaking in-depth assessments, preparing high quality reports and presenting them in a formal setting is required as is your ability to manage child protection and complex, multi-faceted child protection cases.  You will also be able to apply your significant knowledge and practice to guiding, supporting and mentoring other workers.

Possession of a full driving licence, access to a vehicle and willingness to travel both inside and outside the council area as required is needed. An enhanced DBS check will also be required.
